14 WASA GIVEAWAY and recipes

It was a COLD day here yesterday so Brooklyn and I snuggled up on the couch.
Then I got to making some recipes with WASA crackers to keep us busy and snack away the winter blues :)

Wasa Crackers
Wasa is made using all natural ingredients to give you a lighter version for bread that is low fat and full of fiber with whole grains. You can use it as a bread replacement, cracker, or even mixed in a recipe!

Wasa comes in all different flavors and I was given 4 to come up with my own recipes!
My favorite were the crisp'n light. They are the most versatile to make sweet or savory!
The other 3 flavors were Whole grain, Multi grain, and Rye.
You literally can use them as a bread replacement, as that is what we have been doing!
Now for some EASY recipes that you can use with WASA crackers.

Appetizers
Bruschetta
Diced tomatoes
Goat or mozerella cheese
 Olive oil and oregano
black pepper and salt to taste

In a bowl combine cheese, tomato, olive oil, and oregnao.
Season it with salt and pepper to taste.
Evenly place on Wasa cracker.

Greek yogurt Salmon Dip
1 cup plain greek yogurt
1 can alaskan salmon
1 medium onion (minced)
1-2 garlic cloves (minced)
1/4 cup parsley
1/2 cup slivered almonds

1. Mix Greek yogurt and Salmon
2. Add in onion and garlic and stir until creamy
3. Spoon onto a tray or romaine lettuce leaves (for decor)
4. Sprinkle with parsley and slivered almonds (to liking)

Use either the Light n Crisp (my favorite) or Whole grain Wasa crackers to dip in.
PERFECT healthy Appetizer!

Snacks
PB and Banana w/choc chips
Wasa Light n Crisp
Natural Peanut Butter (smooth or crunchy)
Banana sliced
Dark choc chips or shavings

Make it like bread. Slather the peanut butter on the Wasa crisp.
Place banana slices over top
Sprinkle dark choc chips!
Perfect healthy snack to cure that sweet tooth :)

**Or you can go for the Original PB and Jelly toast. Same as with toast but replace with Wasa (I prefer whole grain for this one!)**

Veggie Hummus or Guacamole
Red Pepper Hummus or Wholey Guacamole
Cucumbers thinly sliced
Parsley and cumin to sprinkle on top

Spread Hummus or Guac on Rye or Light n Crisp Wasa evenly
Place cucumbers over top
Sprinkle seasonings to taste

This was my FAVORITE! The Red pepper hummus and the light n crisp Wasa were the perfect combo!

Breakfast
Eggs and Toast
Plain and simple
Sautee onions and peppers til slightly browned
Add in 2 eggs and scramble all together.
Put it on a plate with 2 Whole Grain or Rye Wasa crackers.
Enjoy just like Eggs and Toast (Wasa style!)

Berry Crisp
Wasa Light n Crisp
Berries of your choice (blue, black, straw, or rasberry)
Slivered almonds

Spread the yogurt or cheese on Wasa crisp
Top with berries
Sprinkle almonds over top for an added crunch
