We reorganized our cabinets/fridge and I realized I had a can of crabmeat to use up!
We loved seafood in our house, so I found a basic crabcake recipe and I made it my own by "healthifying" it to be:
Skinny Crabcakes
makes 6 cakes
1 can lumped crabmeat (I used Bumblebee)
12 whole wheat ritz crackers (crushed)
1 egg (beaten)
2 Tbsp. plain greek yogurt (I used Chobani)
1/2 onions chopped and diced
Janes Crazy mixed up salt
1. In a bowl combine crabmeat, crackers, and egg
2. Add in diced onions and yogurt
3. Mix well but try to keep lumps in the crab
4. Add salt to liking
5. Spray skillet with olive oil
6. Place on stove medium heat
7. Form mixture into cakes (6)
8. Place cakes on pan and fry 3-4 min each side sprinkling salt on the top.
9. Once both sides are done you are ready to eat!
Tip: I like it browned, so make sure the onions are slightly browned and it till give it an extra crisp!
Serve over a bed of lettuce or plain with some sort of veggies on the side! We went with Kale Chips :)
While I was busy in the kitchen, this little girl thought it would be fun to go through moms purse!
My little thieve!
I let her enjoy it for a while until she got to the GUM!
This morning I took the time to make a typical grocery list for our house.
STAPLES/Essentials
I laminated it and put at the top columns Product/Need/Cost
This way hopefully we will know what we have and need when it is time to go shopping.
Does anyone else have 3 different stores they go to for groceries? AHHHH
We have Costco. Trader Joes. Kroger.
and YES every store has specific things that we love, so there is no way of narrowing it down :/
I am finishing up my morning coffee and about to do some BodyFlow!
Lots of planning to do today (work related) and Bootcamp tonight.
Do you plan your groceries out and have an "essentials" list? How many stores do you have to go to?

Yum! I LOVE crabcakes... I need to try your recipe out! We mostly go to Costco and Smith's, and the occasional Trader Joe's or Whole Foods trip but those are rare since they are each a good 45 minute drive from us.
