26 Protein Packed...and another giveaway!

We only got a smidgen of snow and nothing to write home about. I am missing Blacksburg right now especially because they got 8 inches!

Virginia Tech Campus...oh how I miss you!

As many of you know PROTEIN is a major food group and is essential for our body, especially our muscle recovery.
I find the easiest way to meet your daily requirement for protein intake is by including protein in every meal AND snack.
TWO great ways to get in a good amount of protein are Greek Yogurt and Protein Powder.
What kinds you ask?

CHOBANI was kind enough to send a case for review

I might be in trouble, as Brooklyn was trying to hoard them, as if I didnt see them :)
They sent a variety of flavors...including Banana, Pear, Blood Orange, Strawberry, Blueberry, Pineapple, Black Cherry...the list goes on! I cannot wait to try all of the flavors out, and seriously you can treat these as a dessert. Top it off with some granola, dark chocolate, fruit, or have it plain and creamy!
Have you jumped on the Greek Yogurt band wagon???
Some people might be leery of the price because they come out to be about 1$ a yogurt. BUT when you think of the nutrition.
Getting in ~15 grams protein, calcium, live cultures and probiotics, natural ingredients, with a rich creamy texture that can be used in recipes for a healthy substitute!
Totally worth that dollar :)
and you can have it on THE GO... any protein on the go is KEY for me.
Have you tried Greek Yogurt? If so what is your favorite brand?
Chobani has coupons on their site too

Next on the list I was sent a NEW protein powder called Collagen Sport.

Collagen? with protein powder?
Exactly my thoughts...until I read more into it.
It is the ultimate recovery powder because it includes pure whey protein isolate + BCAA's + L-glutamine WITH Collagen peptides (which helped connective tissue support)
It also includes multi-vitamin antioxidants
So now it has all of these AMAZING key nutrients BUT how does it taste? (my thoughts exactly)
I first tried it as a basic protein drink to get the real taste:
Almond Milk + 1 scoop powder
result: AMAZING flavor and it mixed very easy.
30 grams of pure protein. SCORE. and the serving is a BIG scoop!

Collagen Sprt Facts Panel

All of those stats and it tastes good.
I have been using the powder to make protein pancakes as a mid afternoon snack.

Now here is the thing...they are giving away a jar to one of o2befitmom readers!
The difference between Collagen Sport and other powders is the complexity of whey protein with collagen protein.
REFUEL, RECOVER, REGENERATE, REPLENISH
