2 keeping busy...

We have reached a new stage...
Brooklyn needs to be kept busy or else she gets bored!
She is on the go and wanting to get into everything and need attention...ahhh!
I quickly grabbed all the kitchen appliances that would be fun for her to play with.
add in empty salt shaker and a milk carton

I have been super busy with teaching classes, but I wouldnt have it any other way!
Nothing beats getting paid to workout and help others enjoy getting fit too :)
I literally spent almost 4 hours there yesterday teaching 3 classes and talking to members. Thank goodness they have awesome childcare there for Brooklyn and she likes going. WIN

This meant lunch had to be quick yesterday...and I had the PERFECT go to lunch in the freezer ready to be heated.

I was sent some coupons to try their products and I went with the Tamales because I had them made for me after Brooklyn was born and I LOVED them.
I was interested to see if they tasted as good as the homemade version....
THEY DID! I loved the tamale but the rice was not to my liking....which is fine because the black bean tamale HIT THE SPOT!
Gluten and dairy free and comes out to be around 300 calories (but without the rice I am sure closer to 200) So I quickly heated up a sweet potato for some staying power because I still had to go teach bootcamp.
I would def. buy these again for a quick meal!
As usual I made a protein drink to have right after I taught the bootcamp last night (I teach it every wednesday night). Class was awesome and it is so nice to see the same people coming back every week and getting stronger and lasting longer in the cardio circuits.

With the rain this morning I just went to our community gym to get a quick
treadmill circuit : Ran at 8mph for 3 min
walked incline (6) for 3 min
and so on for 21 min.
and maybe snow coming tonight I am going to do some bodyflow and get caught up around here with things. I teach a toning class tonight and then tomorrow I have OFF before a busy weekend!

What do you plan when the weather is crappy? I ALWAYS do Bodyflow and stretch...perfect way to start relaxing :)
Have you ever had a tamale? I need to learn how to make them on my own!

  1. Love tamales! I had friends at church whose families would make and sell them around Christmastime-- so good!
